Government initiatives regarding IoT devices and the networks that connect them have accelerated in recent years, thanks to increased hacking activity, general global unrest, the advent of new technology (AI, quantum computing), and expanded government interest in digital infrastructure, among other things. This new content channel from the IMC will provide news and reference about IoT in Public Policy in four general categories:

Certification: Government-recommended documentation for devices and networks, often provided by 3rd-party professional organizations,
Initiatives: Major government initiatives involving IoT and smart technologies aimed at transforming national or regional economies.
Funding: Large-scale public projects that are likely to impact IoT technology deployment in major markets, such as public transport or healthcare
